Our History. Until January 2011 the member countries of the Nordic Region were Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. On January 1st 2011 the Nordic Region and the Baltic Group joined into the Nordic-Baltic Region, with new member countries Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The Nordic Network is a collaborative network that serves international schools in the Nordic and Baltic regions. The network seeks to enhance communication and collaboration between its participants to improve student learning through best practices in international education. We started our network, in the middle of the 90's, due to the fact that the Nordic and Baltic countries have a common historical cultural background and the same values of human rights, democracy and business ethics.
